In the summer of 2007, Bangs was very fortunate to add to its team Master Stylist Wendy Greenlaw.

With a solid fifteen years behind the chair, Wendy’s “Reactive Cutting” style and “Free Form Styling” compliments the already established reputation of the Bangs Salon Team.

Hailing from southern York County and trained at the Portsmouth School of Hair Design, she discovered early that in order to excel the Seacoast area she would have to perfect the latest techniques offered with the reemergence of razor cutting techniques.

"Growing up in the decade of the Dorothy Hamill, I was very intrigued by the perfection of the wedge. After mastering the Treavor Sobie creation, I decided to add a little texture to the perfectly geometric style. It was at that time I decided to use my much-ignored razor, the tool most stylists of the late seventies and early eighties had disregarded as an implement of the past. The razor offered a free-flowing reactive style of cutting that had the ability to soften and heighten the often overly geometric lines that most hairdressers had embraced."

Avoiding the classification as a one dimensional, Wendy sought out advanced courses in coloring, cutting, and styling, studying under the finest stylists in New England before setting up shop with Bangs.
