Born and raised in the suburbs of Boston, hair stylist Arthur Hendrickson relocated to the seacoast of New Hampshire in the late seventies, bringing with him a pair of scissors, a blow dryer, and a desire to create.
For over twenty-five years, Arthur has shown his skill with scissors in the cities of
Hampton (The Top Shop)
Portsmouth (The Yankee Crimper)
Dover (as former creator and owner of Hair Traxx)
Newington (The Garden of Eden)
New Castle (The Salon at the Wentworth by the Sea)
And Somersworth (as creator and owner of Bangs)
Before setting of on his own, he worked with the super stylists of the well-known Yankee Crimper and did two tours with the late Mike Marshall, the original owner and operator of Hair Designs. Arthur's work and clientele are New England wide. Trained in all advanced aspects of hair cutting (scissor, razor, and clipper), coloring techniques from L’Oreal to Renbow International, and advanced platform work, Arthur has also been a teacher.
